PLEASE GUYS THIS IS A HELP URGENTLY NEEDED, PLEASE ANSWER FOR BOTH THE QUESTIONS ALONG WITH THE STEPS. THESE BOTH QUESTIONS ARE FOR 5 MARKS. SO PLEASE ANSWER ONLY ACCORDING TO THESE QUESTIONS, NO UNWANTED ANSWERS. THIS IS A KIND REQUEST

45.) A dice is thrown 500 times. The frequency of numbers (1,2,3,4,5,6) appearing on the uppermost face are given:-
Outcomes: 1 2 3 4 5 6
Frequency: 89 75 78 73 88 97
Find the probability of having an outcome:
i) Number 3 on uppermost face.
ii) Number greater than 4.
iii) Number between 1 and 3.

49.) the weight of 60 persons in a group are given below:-
Weight(in kg):
60 61 62 63 64 65
Number of persons:
5 18 4 16 5 12
Find the probability that a person selected at random has:
i) weight less than 65 kg.
ii) weight between 61 and 64 kg.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A die is rolled 500 times and following outcomes are recorded:

Outcome :    1/  / 2  / 3   / 4   / 5   / 6

Frequency : 88/ 85/ 76/ 75/ 86/ 90

To find : The probability of getting

1. even prime number

2. a number greater than 4

Solution :

Total  number of outcome = 500

1) Probability of getting even prime number

Favorable outcome (even prime number) is 2 =85

2) Probability of getting a number greater than 4

Favorable outcome (a number greater than 4) =86+90=176

( i ) Weight less than 65 kg = 0.8

( ii ) Weight between 61 kg and 64 kg = 0.72

( iii ) Weight equal to or more than 64 kg = 0.28 ( or ) 0.3

Given

Weight of the persons ( in Kg )   60    61    62    63    64    65

  Number of persons                  5      18    4      16      5      12

Total of number of persons = 5 + 18 + 4 + 16 + 5 + 12

                                             = 60.

( i ) Weight less than 65 kg   -----> ( A ) :

     A = Persons whose weight less than 65 kg / Total of number of persons

    Persons whose weight less than 65 kg = 5 + 18 + 4 + 16 + 5

                                                                      = 48

                                          A = 48 / 60

      Weight less than 65 kg = 0.8

( ii ) Weight between 61 kg and 64 kg   -----> ( B ) :

     B = Persons whose weight between 61 kg and 64 kg / Total of number of persons

      Persons whose weight between 61 kg and 64 kg = 18 + 4 + 16 + 5

                                                                                         =  43

                                           B = 43 / 60

         Weight between 61 kg and 64 kg = 0.72

( iii ) Weight equal to or more than 64 kg   -----> ( C ) :

      C = Persons whose weight equal to or more than 64 kg / Total of  number of persons

       Persons whose weight equal to or more than 64 kg = 5 + 12

                                                                                               = 17

                                           C = 17 / 60

       Weight equal to or more than 64 kg = 0.28 ( or ) 0.3
