Hi ,

1 ) if q = 4 , r = - 1

p - 5q = 4qr

p = 4qr + 5q

= 4 × 4 × ( - 1 )

p = - 16

2 ) if y = 2 , p = 5 , q = 6

x - y = xy / ( p - q )

x - 2 = ( x × 2 ) / ( 5 - 6 )

x - 2 = 2x / ( - 1 )

x - 2 = - 2x

2x + x = 2

3x = 2

x = 2/ 3

I hope this helps you.

1----p-5q=4qr
if q=4 & r=-1
so p-5×4=4×4×(-1)
p-20=-16
p= -16+20
p=4
2----- x-y=xy/p-q
if y=2,p=5 & q=6
x-2=x×2/5-6
x-2=2x/-1
x-2=-2x
x+2x=2
3x=2
x=2/3
