Shoe/each pair (original) = 40

for 3 pairs = $120

So the amount out / pair of shoe (difference between original and new price) = 20

for 3 pairs = $ 60

Box each (original) = 50

for 3 = 150

So the amount out (difference between original and new price) = 17.50

for 3 = $ 52.50

So percentage saving = (differences ÷ originals) × 100

 = [( 52.50 + 60 ) ÷ ( 120 + 150 )] × 100

= 41.67%
