let root 3 + root 7 be rational no.
root 3 + root 7 = p/ q
root 7 = p/ q - root 3 ( which is also rational no.)
but this contradicts the fact that root 7 is an irrational no.
this contradiction arises due to our wrong assumption that root 3 + root 7 is a rational no.
therefore root 3+ root 7 is an irrational no.
hence proved.
root 3 + root 7 = p/ q
