x = 500

Area of the figure= x.y

= - 250 * 500

= - 125000

2x +5y = 500...(1)

y =- 2x/5 + 100

2x + 5y = 500

2x + 5 * 2x /5 +100 =500

x = 20..(2)

Putting value of equation 2 in equation 1

2x +5y = 500

2* 20 + 5y= 500

40 +5y = 500

5y = 500-40

5y = 460

y= 92

Area = x.y

= 20 * 92

= 1840
