2. politicians and political parties now could not neglect women as they were equally important. Thus now women could raise issues that concerned them and gave them equal opportunities and in return political parties had to take up these issues in their campaigns.

3. In the context of our Indian Constitution, it promoted Article 14, 19 and 21.
