1st one

5x + 3y is 8
y is -5x/3 + 8/3
So slope is -5/3

If lines are perpendicular,
(slope of 1st line) * (slope of line 2) = -1

So slope of other line is

3/5

2nd one

3x-5y=10
so, y =
(3x \div 5) - 2
Comparing this to y = mx + c
Slope is m =3/5
Line Parallel to this will have same slope.
So option D is correct.
