Lockdown. The definition of boredom. Sure, there is a pandemic lurking around and we can’t go out so we got to stay inside. My day started with me getting up, eating breakfast while brainstorming about what to do. I was happy that I had no school, but online school, I didn’t know was just as bad. Since today was Monday and I had online classes, I opened my laptop and joined the class, everyone was hyper, staring at a screen for 6hrs continuously can do that to you. My teacher was having connection problems but so was expected. Everyone was in lockdown, everyone’s life depended on the Internet now. After school. I decided to do some gaming, I knew screen was bad for me but I had to keep up the levels. One hour went by and I felt hungry. My mom being the optimistic woman she was wanted me to help her with some baking. I did so only because I was bored and hungry. Plus the cookies smelt good. Time passed and I realised baking was satisfying. I wanted to do it more often. Maybe I would. It made me realise that even amidst this pandemic we can do so much. Including new talents. I thought days wouldn’t be so much more boring now. What can I say things can go right.
