The answer is 5 cm.
REASON....
Tangents from an external point on a circle are equal in length...so AP=PB=5cm....
Now angle APB = 60° , angle PAB = angle PBA( since AP=PB and angles opposite to equal sides are equal)
Let the equal angles be x°.
60° +x°+x°= 180°(sum of all angles of a triangle=180°)
= 2x°=(180-60)°
=x°=(120/2)°
=x°=60°
Hence,∆PAB is an equilateral triangle.(all angles=60°)
Thus all sides are equal.
So AB = 5cm.
