Answer:

Angle BAD = Angle ABC ( Alternate Angles )

Angle BAD + Angle ADC + 90 = 180

Angle BAD = 180 - 90 - 40 = 50°

given :- ang.ABC = 40°

ang.ABC = ang.ADC ( angles subtended by same arc are equal)

=> ang.ADC = 40°
