Question:-

(1) Evaluate if a = 3, b = 0 , c = -2

i) ab + 2bc + 3ca + 4abc

ii) + + - 3abc

Solution :-

i) ab + 2bc + 3ca + 4abc

Putting their values, we get:-

=> a = 3

=> b = 0

=> c = -2

So, Equation will be,

=> 3×0 + 2×0×3 + 3×(-2)×3 + 4×3×0×(-2)

=> 0 + 0 + -18 + 0

=> -18

ii) a³ + b³ + c³ - 3abc

By putting their values we get :

=> a = 3

=> b = 0

=> c = -2

In, Equation :-

=> (3)³ + (0)³ + (-2)³ - 3×3×0×(-2)

=> 27 + 0 + (-8) - 0

=> 27 - 8

=> 19

Therefore, Answers are:-

  • i) -18
  • ii) 19
