Let the present ages of Aman and Naman be 4x and 5x.

After 8 years:

= > Age of Aman = (4x + 8).

= > Age of Naman = (5x + 8).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Given that After 8 years, the ratio of their ages will be 5:6.

= > (4x + 8)/(5x + 8) = (5/6)

= > 6(4x + 8) = 5(5x + 8)

= > 24x + 48 = 25x + 40

= > -x = -8

= > x = 8.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Therefore,

Present age of Aman = 4x = 4(8) = 32 years.

Present age of Naman = 5x = 5(8) = 40 years.

Hope this helps!

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

ATQ, the present age of Aman and Naman are in the ratio 4 : 5

let their age be 4x and 5x respectively.

given that after 8 years, the ratio of their ages will be 5 : 6

therefore ( 4x + 8 ) / ( 5x + 8 ) = 5/6

==> 6 ( 4x + 8 ) = 5 ( 5x + 8 )

==> 24x + 48 = 25x + 40

==> 24x - 25x = 40 - 48

==> -x = -8

==> x = 8

hence, present age of Aman = 4x = 4 × 8 = 32 years

and present age of Naman = 5x = 5 × 8 = 40

hope this helps..!!
