Given Equation is 2x^2 - x - 3

It can be written as

= > 2x^2 + 2x - 3x - 3

= > 2x(x + 1) - 3(x + 1)

= > (2x - 3)(x + 1).

Therefore, factorization of 2x^2 - x - 3 = (2x - 3)(x + 1).

Hope this helps!
