PLEASE HELP HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE

For exams we take a equation
2x - 6 = 0

now we multiply it by 1 on both sides

1 \times (2x - 6) = 0 \times 1
Now Since It is in Multiplication we can send (2x - 6) On other side

1 =  \frac{0}{(2x - 6)}
Which is
1 = 0
HOW?! CAN SOMEONE Help
whoever gives a proper explanation I'll mark brainliest
