      =>   ∠C = 72° ie, ∠BCA = 72°

we know that ∠BCA and ∠DCA are linear pairs (from the figure)

=> ∠BCA +∠DCA = 180°

=> ∠DCA = 180°-72° = 108°

now ∠DCA and x are opposite angles of a parallelogram

we have the property, opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal

=>   x = ∠DCA
