Please help. I'll name whoever answer well brainliest. A. Jenna wants to buy a new tablet computer. Top Quality, an electronics store, is selling them at a 15% discount off the list price. Using t as the list price of the tablet, write two different expressions representing the discounted price. B. Explain how each expression represents the discounted price. C. While at Top Quality, Jenna sees a smartphone on sale for 1/4 off its list price. Her friend tells her to wait and buy it at Big Value, a discount chain, where the same phone is selling for only 75% of the list price. Should Jenna buy the smartphone at Top Quality or Big Value? Support your answer with mathematical evidence. (Assume that getting the lowest price is Jenna's only consideration.) Type your answers in the box below. Make sure to label each part with A, B, and C.

Step-by-step explanation:

A) Let the list price be 't' as given.

∴ Equation 1) If there is a 15% discount then the tablet is selling at 100 - 15 =  85 %

∴ The price of selling the tablet =  (85 × t) / 100

As   t  : 100 % .   ∴ 85 % = (85 × t) / 100

First Equation = (85 × t) / 100

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the discount on the tablet is 15 % The selling cost of the tablet would be  :-   t  -  ( 15 % of t )  =  85 %

∴ 15 % of t  =  (15 × t) / 100

∴ Price of the Tablet would be :-

t  -  [(15 × t) / 100]

Second Equation =  t  -  [(15 × t) / 100]

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

B)  Explanation already done in the above A part.

1) For first equation the cost of the tablet after giving the discount ( 85 % ) has been calculated.

2) For the second equation the list price minus the discount amount is calculated.

Both the calculations give the same answer .

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

C) Price of the smartphone at Top Quality = 1 / 4 of its list price =  25 %

Price of the Smartphone at Big Value =  3 / 4 of its list price  =  75 %

∴ You would definitely prefer buying the Smartphone with the less price with more discount to save money.

∴ Jenna should buy the Smartphone from Top Quality as it is at a lesser price.
