Please help! I’m not able to understand the reason why planets do not twinkle? The reason being that the text in ncert is so complicated and I’m not able to understand it.

It would be really helpful for me if someone can explain it to me in simple language......

Unlike stars, planets don't twinkle. Stars areso distant that they appear as pinpoints of light in the night sky, even when viewed through a telescope. Because all the light iscoming from a single point, its path is highly susceptible to atmospheric interference (i.e. their light is easily diffracted).

》Here it is....
The reason is that stars which are away from earth appears very small in size from our Earth and when we see through the large telescopes we are only able to see that starts are like pinpoints ,they appear to be pinpointed Shape..
Hence we say that planets are appear to be twinkling
Wherease
planets which we see from telescope are not appears to be pinpointed hence we can say that planets do not twinkle.
