Terrestrial planets are Earth-like planets made up of rocks or metals with a hard surface. Terrestrial planets also have a molten heavy-metal core, few moons and topological features such as valleys, volcanoes and craters.

In our solar system, there are four terrestrial planets, which also happen to be the four closest to the sun: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.

There are high numbers of impact craters on Venus, and it is believed that there used to be even more craters but due to volcanic activity they have been covered.

the inner planets are formed due to when the center of solar nebula became hot, and the only materials that could surive heat rocks metals etc. and they condense which forms inner planets .

further away from center the other elements turns into mateirals like water ammonia and methane so outer planets

were formed.

Venus is summarized as having the least elliptical orbit of all the planets in our Solar System due to its almost perfect circular path around the Sun.
