Please help! I will give 20 points+brainliest!!!
Compare two different cars (or trucks) horsepower, which one will have the best horsepower? which one will have the least horsepower? Based on your data, which car makers manufacture cars with the best horsepower? Based on your data, which car makers manufacture cars with the worst horsepower?
Please explain your answers! Please no "I do not know this answer" or random letter/numbers as your answer, i've been getting a lot of those... Rip

But there is one golden rule - Horsepower wins races, torque wins pulling contests.
Cars with greater horsepower will always have better acceleration, greater top speed and overall driving enjoyment.
Cars with greater torque will always have better pulling power and nothing else, it means it can pull heavy load without slowing down.
But in your question you missed one of most important parameters of an IC engine - RPM.
You can have engine with huge torque, but if engine is not capable of revving to high RPM, it’s horsepower rating will not be so high, but with it’s torque, it’ll pull the Moon to the Earth even at 1 mph.
On the other side, you have an F1 engine. Wanna know how much torque it has? 50 lb/ft! Yea you red that right. F1 engine has 50 lb/ft of twist. But wait? How F1 car accelerates so fast? Because it’s engine spins up to 15,000 RPM ! Horsepower is product of torque and engine speed.
Lets imagine we have 2 engines.
Engine 1 has 100 lb/ft of torque and 6000 RPM redline.
Engine 2 has 200 lb/ft of torque but redline of 3000 RPM.
Both of these 2 engines have SAME horsepower rating.
Basically, you can gain more HP either by building engine with peak torque placed somewhere high in rev range, OR you can simply increase torque of engine itself regardless of RPM
More torque you place further up the rev range, more horsepower you get, only downside of this is reducing engine power at low RPMs, and many people like this low end torque.
You can build tiny engine with tiny torque but if you spin in fast enough, it will have shiploads of horsepower.
