Fungus are heterotrophic(depend on other organisms for food) organisms. Heterotrophic organisms means they may be saprophytic,parasitic,decomposers and coprophilus.
1. if they saprophytic then they feed on the dead body.
2.if they parasitic then they will feed on living organisms
3.if they decomposers they (feed) decompose the organic matter.
4.Coprophilus fungus grows on dung

We also are heterotrophic (depend on other organisms) organisms. We are dependent direct or indirect on plants for food.
