Answer:

3. (i) When a carpet is beaten with a stick, the dust comes out of it because of law of inertia. Initially the dust particles are at rest along with the carpet. Beating the carpet with the stick makes the carpet to move but the dust particles remain at rest due to inertia at rest, thus the dust gets detached from the carpet.

(ii) v = 30 m/s

    t = 10 s

   When a car starts from the rest, its initial velocity is 0 and here its moving velocity is mentioned to be 30 m/s.

So the difference in these two velocities is 30 – 0 = 30 m/s.

Hence, the acceleration of the car is calculated as this difference in velocities / time, means here it is 30 / 10 = 3.

The formula for finding the force is acceleration x mass, i.e. 1500 x 3 = 4500 N

HOPE THAT IT WAS HELPFUL!!!!

MARK IT THE BRAINLIEST IF IT REALLY WAS!!!!
