Explanation:

1st answer:-

Cellulose (a type of carbohydrate) can be digested by ruminants but not by humans because ruminants have a large sac-like structure called rumen between the oesophagus and the small intestine. The cellulose of the food is digested here by the action of certain bacteria which are not present in humans.

2nd answer:-

Nutrition in an Amoeba occurs through a process called phagocytosis where the entire organism pretty much engulfs the food it plans on eating up. The mode of nutrition in amoeba is known as holozoic nutrition. It involves the ingestion, digestion and egestion of food material. Amoeba does not have any specialized organ for nutrition. Its entire process is carried through the body surface with the help of pseudopodia.
