Step-by-step explanation:

we can observe from the above figure that this prism is made up of two equal traingles , rectangles and another one rectangle at the base.

So for calculating the area

Area of triangles= 1/2×b×h

1/2×3×4= 6cm²

now area of both the traingles = 6cm²×2=12cm²

Now, area of the rectangle = l×b= 8×5=40cm²

area of another rectangle = l×b = 8×4= 32cm²

Now area of the base rectangle= l×b = 8×3=24cm²

Now adding the areas of all the traingles and rectangles= 12+40+32+24= 108cm²
