Explanation:

1) Friction (Because It opposes the motion of cycle)

so displacement and friction are opposite in direction

so the work done is negative

2) kinetic energy (because cycle is in constant velocity)

  3) chemical ( because ATP Is chemical energy which is used while cycling)

Given : The bicycle travels at a constant speed

To Find : Fill in the blanks

Solution:

Cycle is moving a constant speed

as there is no change in speed

hence kinetic energy remains same.

As such no work is required as there is no change in kinetic energy.

But there is Fractional force acting against it

so work has to be done to over come frictional force.

Chemical energy would be required to do work

As bicycle moves , work done is against frictional forces

There is no change in cyclist  kinetic  energy

There is decrease in chemical energy
