A spore is a reproductive cell that can  develop into a new individual without uniting with another reproductive cell.

   E.g.Algae , bacteria and fungi etc.

They are produced by meiosis in the sporangium of a diploid sporophyte.

3. Spores are haploid and unicellular reproductive cells in asexual method. Fungi, algae etc. are reproduced by spore formation. Spores are located inside sporangia .

4. a) Sweet potato is an example.

   b) Bougainvillaea is an example.
