Step-by-step explanation:
let a^1/x=b^1/y=c^1/z=k
since, a^1/x=k
then a=k^x .......(1)
similarly b=k^y .......(2)
and c=k^z .......(3)
A.T.Q.
b^2=ac
(k^y)^2=k^x×k^z
k^2y=k^(x+z) {from equa 1,2 and 3}
since bases are equal then powers are also equal, therefore,
2y=x+z
