Answer:

1) Mango tree - Autotroph

2) Mushroom - Saprophyte

3) Pitcher plant - insectivorous plants

4) Cuscuta - parasitic

5) Elephant - Heterotroph

Explanation:

1) Mango trees are autotrophs because autotrophs are organisms which have the ability to make food on their own with the abiotic factors in their surroundings like food , water , air etc . Since mango trees also make their own food using the components in their surroundings they are called as autotrophs .

2) Mushrooms are said to be saprophytes because saprophytes are organisms which depend upon the nutrients in the dead and decayed materials and since mushrooms too depend upon the dead and decayed materials in the humus of it's soil it is called a saprophyte .

3) Pitcher plants are said to be insectivorous plants because insectivorous plants eat the insects which comes in contact with them and since pitcher plants also digest whatever organism ( generally insects ) that sits upon them for more than 20 seconds , they are called as Insectivorous plants .

4) Cuscuta is said to be parasitic because just like parasites which absorbs nutrients from whatever host it comes in contact with , cuscuta also absorbs nutrients from the plant on which it climbs . Hence it is called as a parasitic plant .

5) Elephants are said to be Heterotrophs because heterotrophs are organisms which can't make food on their own and depend upon other plants , animals or both for their survival . Since elephants also depend upon other organisms - plants for their food , they are called as Heterotrophs .
