Step-by-step explanation:

Pythagorean triplets are numbers which satisfy the equation

a^2 = b^2 + c^2

To solve this question alway select biggest number as "a"

(i) (17)^2=289

(8)^2 + (10)^2 = 164

L. H. S =/= R. H. S

Therefore given numbers are NOT pythegorean triplets

(ii) (12)^2 = 144

(8)^2 + (10)^2 =164

L. H. S =/= R. H. S

Therefore given numbers are NOT pythagorean triplets

(iii) (13)^= 169

(5)^2 + (12)^2 = 169

L. H. S. = R. H. S

Theredore given numbers ARE pythagorean triplets

(iv) (6)^2 = 36

(4)^2 + (5)^2 =41

L. H. S =/= R. H. S so given numbers are NOT pythagorean triplets

(v) (20.5)^2= 420.25

(20)^2 + (3.5)^2 =412.25

L. H. S =/= R. H. S

Therefore given numbers are NOT pythagorean triplets

(vi) (8.5)^2 =72.25

(7.5)^2 + (4)^2= 72.25

L. H. S = R. H. S

Therefore given numbers ARE pythagorean triplets
