This question comes under the topic differentiation of parametric functions

 \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{ \frac{dy}{dt} }{ \frac{dx}{dt} }  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  -  (1)

So,

y = 2at

 \frac{dy}{dt}  = 2a

Also,

x = at {}^{2}

 \frac{dx}{dt}  = 2at

Putting in eq 1

 \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{2a}{2at}

 \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{1}{t}

Putting value of t from y = 2at

t = y/2a

dy/dx = 2a/y

Note : You can also put value of t from x = at²
