Answer:

The final temperature of the mixture is 21.3°C.

Explanation:

From the above Question,

The capability of zinc:

         Q_1_1.1 = m_1 × c_1 × ΔT1

where,

         m_1 = 376g

          c_1 = 387 J/kg K

         ΔT1 = T1 - T0

                = (66 - 19)°C

              ΔT1 = 47°C

         Q_1_11 = 376g × 387 J/kg K × 47°C

         Q_1_11 = 7,303,668 J

         Q_1_12 = m2 × c2 × ΔT2

where,

         m2 = 345g + 610g

                 = 955g

            c2 = 900 J/kg K

         ΔT2 = T0 - 19°C

                 = 19°C

         Q_1_12 = 955g × 900 J/kg K × 19°C

         Q_1_12 = 16,347,000 J

The sum of Q_1_11 and Q_1_12:

         Q_1_1 = Q_1_11 + Q_1_12

         Q_1_1 = 7,303,668 J + 16,347,000 J

         Q_1_1 = 23,650,668 J

         Q_1_1 = m3 × c3 × ΔT3

Simplifying:

         c3 = 17.74 J/g K

To find Tf:

         Tf = Q_1_1 / (m3 × c3) + T0

         Tf = 23,650,668 J / (1331g × 17.74 J/g K) + 19°C

         Tf = 21.3°C

Therefore,

         The final temperature of the mixture is 21.3°C.
