\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer:-}}}}

Number is 27

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Given:-}}}}

Let 10x + y be a number,

such that, 10x + y = 3(x + y)

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{</strong><strong>T</strong><strong>o</strong><strong> </strong><strong>find</strong><strong>:-}}}}

The number = ?

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Solution:-}}}}

According to question:-

\implies 10 x + y = 3( x + y)

\implies 10 x + y = 3x + 3 y

\implies 10 x - 3x = 3y - y

\implies 7 x = 2 y

\implies \bold{</strong><strong> \frac{x}{y}  =  \frac{7}{2} </strong><strong>}

\implies x = 7 , y = 2

then, required number is given by :- 10 y + x

= 10 × 2 + 7

= 20 + 7

= 27

hence, required number is 27.
