Y is equal to 32 degrees because vertically opposite angles are equal
X + Y is equal to 180 degrees because they form a linear pair .if Y is equal to 32 degrees x is equal to 180 degrees minus 32 degrees which is equal to 48 Degrees

wwwannamathew5378: How x+y will become a linear pair
krishyogee: see, x+y becomes a linear pair as they are angles on the same side of the line
krishyogee: thanks

Y=116(opposite angles of a rectangles are equal +angle sum propety of a triangle )

X=58(90^0-32^0)
