cos^2x-sinx-1=0

Answer:

-cos²x+1=sin²x.... this is an identity

cos^2x-sinx-1=0

-(1-cos²x) -sinx=0

-sin²x-sinx=0

-sin²x=sinx

-sinx=0

x=0
