Step-by-step explanation:

take(x+1)=0

so x=-1

now substitute(-1) in place of x

so (-1)^3+13(-1)^2+32(-1)+20

(-1)+13(1)+32(-1)+20

-1+13-32+20

13+20-32-1

33-33

=0

therefore factor is (x+1)

let,

F(x) = x^3 + 13x^2 + 32x + 20

F(-1) = (- 1 + 13 - 32 + 20) = (- 33 + 33) = 0

therefore (x+1) is a factor of F(x)

so,

x^3 + 13x^2 + 32x + 20

= x^3 + x^2 + 12x^2 + 12x + 20x + 20

= x^2(x + 1) + 12x(x + 1) + 20(x+1)

= (x + 1) (x^2 + 12x + 20)

= (x + 1) (x^2 + 10x + 2x + 20)

= (x + 1) {x(x + 10) + 2(x + 10)}

= (x + 1) (x + 10) ( x + 2) (ans.)
