when a girl reaches puberty in her body the uterus which is a bag like structure present in their reproductive system produces a blood lining in order to recieve the fetus or a developed embryo from the hatched ovary from ovary duct but when the ovaries don't hatch the blood lining breaks and this continues for about 2-3 days and this cycle repeats after every 28 days
