YOUR QUESTION: Write the roots of the equation (x+3)(x-2)=0.

MY ANSWER:

x^{3} -3x-2 =0

Clearly x=−1 is a solution of the equation, hence (x+1) is a factor of the equation

x^{2} -x-2

Then divide x^{3} - 3x -2 by (x+1)

                         \sqrt[x+1]{x^{3}-3x-2 }

                             x^{3} + x^{2}

                        \sqrt{-3x-2-x^{2}}

                          -x -x^{2}

                     \sqrt{-2x-2x}\\               -2x-2

x^{2} -x-2

x^{2} +2x-x-2=0

x(x+2)-1(x+2)=0

⇒(x−1)(x+2)=0

\boxed {Factors=>(x+1)(x-1)(x+2)=0}\\\boxed {Roots =>-1,1,-2.}

Economics is the study of how humans make decisions in the face of scarcity. These can be individual decisions, family decisions, business decisions or societal decisions. Scarcity means that human wants for goods, services and resources exceed what is available.
