There was a dog that was very hungry. He searched for food everywhere and at last he found a bone. He picked the bone with his mouth and started going back to his home. There was a bridge on the way to his home.
When he started crossing it he saw his reflection in the water. The dog thought that there was another dog with a bone in water. He wanted to get that other bone too.
So he started barking at his own reflection. His bone fell in water as soon as he opened his mouth. The greedy dog lost his bone.
The Hare and the Tortoise
Once there lived a hare and a tortoise in a jungle. Both of them were fast friends. The hare was very proud of his swiftness, but the tortoise walked slowly. The hare always taunted the tortoise for its slow pace.
The tortoise angry and felt insulted every time. Once it asked the hare to run a race. The hare accepted the challenge.
The next day the race started from a particular place. They were to reach the bank of the river. The hare took a few leaps and was much ahead of the tortoise he looked back and saw that the tortoise was at a great distance. He decided to take a nap. But he slept for a long time. The tortoise had reached the goal. The hare ran very fast but the tortoise had already reached. The hare realized that slow and steady wins the race.
A Greedy Dog
Once there was a dog. He was very hungry. He wandered door to door. He stole a piece of bone from butcher’s shop and ran away with it. He wanted to eat it alone. So he moved away from there.
On the way, there was river. He wanted to cross the river. He passed over the bridge, but when he was passing over the bridge, he saw his own image in the water. He took it for another dog with piece of meat in its mouth. He was very greedy. His mouth watered. He wanted to have that bone also.
The dog barded at his own shadow in water. When he opened his mouth, his own piece of meat fell into the water. He was very sad and repented over his folly. But it was it was too late.
