integration of 1/1+sin x dx
So, let's try simplifying
1/1+sin x = (1-sin x) / (1-sin^2 x)
= (1-sin x)/cos^2 x
= 1/cos^2 x - sin x/cos^2 x
= sec^2 x - sec x tan x
So, Integration of sec^2 x - sec x tan x dx
= tan x - sec x + c
This is what you finally get off the value of the integral
So, I suppose value of a = x/2 and b = - sec x
Hope that's that !
