what will happen if the positive terminal of one electric cell is connect to the positive terminal of another cell in a television remote ? why?

electric current will not flow because current will

flow then only when we connected positive terminal of one cell to negative terminal of

other cell.

Here is your answer -

If one of the batteries is of higher voltage than the other, the battery with lower voltage will see an increase in voltage as the chemical reaction reverses in the battery with less voltage.

The battery with higher voltage will see a drop in measured voltage. The result is that the two batteries equilibrate to the same voltage.

This basic principle or observation allows people to recharge batteries based on so-called impedance or what is really the internal resistance of batteries.
