PRESENCE OF MIND

One day an old man, aged about seventy, was crossing towards the main road, Suddenly, a speedy car, coming from the opposite direction hit the old man. The old man sustained grave injury. As the street was filled with crowd, the driver of the car did not stop at the spot but fled from the scene. People arrived at the spot immediately and soon there was a hue and cry. Everyone tried their best to show his/her sympathy. Some of them started giving lechers on rash and careless driving. But none come forward to help the injured old man nor planned to call a ambulance to rush the old man to nearby hospital. On the other hand, the old man was in a pool of blood. On that spot two boys coming from school witnessed the scene. They saw the grave injury of the old man and immediately called an auto richshaw and took the old man to a nearby hospital. After receiving treatment the old man came round within few hours and thanked wholeheartedly the two boys because for them his life was saved from danger. The doctors and all who were present in the hospital and outside praised both the boys for their presence of mind.

Moral: Presence of mind is a great quality.
