||GIVEN||

  • ABCD is a Parallelogram
  • ∠BAD = 50°

||TO FIND||

  • Value of x,y,z

||SOLUTION||

WKT

  • Adjacent Angles of a Parallelogram are equal.

∠BAD+∠ADC = 180°

50°+∠ADC = 180°

∠ADC = 180°-50°

∠ADC = 130°

  • \longmapsto\;\bold{y = 130°}

WKT

  • Opposite Angles of a Parallelogram are equal.

∠ADC = ∠ABC

∠ABC = 130°

  • \longmapsto\;\bold{x = 130°}

As, AB||DC & BE as transversal.

∠ABC = ∠DCE

∠DCE = 130°

  • \longmapsto\;\bold{z = 130°}

Properties of Parallelogram:-

  • Two pair of opposite sides are equal and parallel.
  • Diagonals bisect each other at a point.
  • Opposite Angles are equal and adjacent angles are supplementary.
