PLEASE HELP ME :
HOW SOUND PROPOGATES ???

kashish277: Sound propagatesthrough air as a longitudinal wave. The speed of sound is determined by the properties of the air, and not by the frequency or amplitude of the sound.Sound waves, as well as most other types of waves, can be described in terms of the following basic wave phenomena.

sound propagates by contactions and relaxations with troughs and crests 8n a medium .sound do not propagate in vaccume

craze4study: sound propagates when there is a medium because median contains particles when sound strikes these particles then it propagates
craze4study: as in vaccume there is no particles present sound do not propagates
Anonymous: then what about electro magnetic wave?
Anonymous: y they travel without medium
Anonymous: if u know then reply plzz jii
craze4study: electromagnetic wave do not depend upon particles of medium
craze4study: electromagnetic wave is very Different from sound wave
craze4study: that is why electromagnetic wave travels without medium
Anonymous: r u f9 yr.after a long time
Anonymous: wht is difference plzz
