You have give two possible values for x
If you let x = 6, first expressions will be 2(6)+4-1 = 15
and second monomial will be 3+6+6 = 15
If you let x = 2, first expressions will be 2(2)+4-1 = 7
and second monomial will be 3+2+2 = 7
In both the cases, value for x in both expressions is equal. Hence the expressions are equivalent for x = 6 and x = 2
