  • a square is inscribed in a circle of radius 8 cm.

To Find:

  • area of the inscribed square.

Solution:

  • We know that the diagonals of  a square is same and bisect each other with 90° .
  • now the bisector of diagonal is 8 cm.
  • now the side of the square is \sqrt{8^2 + 8^2}  
  • = 8√2 cm
  • area of the square is (8\sqrt{2}) ^{2} = 64  * 2 =128 cm² (Ans.)
