Here is ur solution for 21 :-
let, the first amount as X and the second amount Y
according to question:-
SI rate on X = 12%
so SI = X×12%
and SI rate on Y = 10%
so SI = Y×10%
then,
12X/100+10Y/100 = 1300. ( according question)
(12X+10Y)/100 = 1300
12X+10Y = 1300×100 = 130000 .......(1)

after interchange :-

SI rate on X =10%
so SI = 10X/100
SI rate on Y =12%
so SI = 12Y/100
total SI = 10X/100+12Y/100 = 1300+40
(10X+12Y)/100 = 1340
10X+12Y = 134000 .......(2)
equation (1)+(2):-
12X+10X+10Y+13Y = 130000+134000
22X+22Y = 264000
22(X+Y) = 264000
X+Y = 12000. ...........(3)
X= 12000-Y
put X on (2)
10(12000-Y)+12Y = 134000
120000-10Y+12Y = 134000
2Y = 134000-120000
Y = 14000/2
Y = 7000
put Y on (3)
X+Y = 12000
X +7000 = 12000
X = 5000
Y = 7000
So now we can say that the person invested 7000 and 5000 in different rates .
