We are given, 2 and -3 are zeroes of given polynomial

So, By putting x = 2

(2)²+(a+1)2 + b = 0
so, 4+2a+2+b = 0
      so, 2a + b = -6 ........................(1)

and By putting x = -3

(-3)² + (a+1)-3 + b = 0
 so, 9+3a -3 + b = 0
    so, 6 +3a + b = 0
    so, 3a + b = -6 .............................(2)

On solving Eqn (1) & (2)

We get, a+b = -6
