To find :-

Find the values of x and y ?

Solution :-

Given that

AB = 25 m

CD = (2y+3) m

AM = (3x-7) m

MD = 32 m

Given that

∆ABM =~ ∆ DCM

So, The corresponding sides are equal.

AB = CD

=> 25 = 2y+3

=> 2y+3 = 25

=> 2y = 25-3

=> 2y = 22

=> y = 22/2

=> y = 11 m

Therefore, y = 11 m

and

AM = MD

=> 3x-7 = 32

=> 3x = 32+7

=> 3x = 39

=> x = 39/3

=> x = 13 m

Therefore, x = 13 m

Answer:-
