Let the ratio be p : q.

The line segment is from top left to bottom right.

The portion of line between points (-3, 10) and (-1, 6) is taken as p and the other portion as q in least forms.

X coordinate of (-1, 6),  -1,  is,

\Rightarrow\ -1=\frac{-3q+6p}{p+q} \\ \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ p+q=\frac{-3q+6p}{-1} \\ \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ p+q=3q-6p \\ \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ p+6p=3q-q \\ \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 7p=2q \\ \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ \frac{p}{q}=\bold{\frac{2}{7}} \\ \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ p:q=\bold{2:7}

So the answer is 2:7.

Hope this helps. Plz mark it as the brainliest.

Plz ask me if you've any doubts.

Thank you. Have a nice day. :-))
