Answer :–

  • Ratio of the plants of School A and School B is 41 : 29.

Given :–

  • Students of School A planted = 615 plants.
  • The total number of the plants = 1050.

To Find :–

  • The ratio of plants of School A and School B.

Solution :–

First, we need to find the number of plants planted by School B.

So,

Number of plants planted by School B = Total plants – Number of plants planted by School A.

Here the given values are,

  • Total plants = 1050.
  • Number of plants planted by School A = 615.

Now, substitute both the given values for find the number of plants planted by School B.

 \rightarrow School \: B = 1050 - 615

\rightarrow  School \: B = 435

So,

Students of School B planted 435 plants.

Now, we have to find the ratio of the plants of School A and School B.

So,

  • Plants of School A = 615.
  • Plants of School B = 435.

 \rightarrow   \dfrac{School \: A}{School \: B}

\rightarrow   \dfrac{ \cancel{615}}{ \cancel{435}}

Cut it by 5,

We get,

\rightarrow \dfrac{ \cancel{123}}{ \cancel{87}}

Now, cut it by 3,

We get,

 \rightarrow \dfrac{41}{29}

So, the ratio of the plants of School A and School B is,

 \rightarrow 41 : 29
