Since the lens diverges the light rays , it is a diverging lens i.e. concave lens

Anonymous: Since the ray is parallel to principal axis , when we extend it backwards , it will meet at F1
Anonymous: We can send another ray from A to the pole which will bend obliquely. Wherever these two rays meet , the image will be formed.
